The Dreamiest Places to Flip Those Pages

We all fantasize about a cozy little nook to read our favorite book. 1. The Used Book Cafe in Paris

Paris, France, is already one of the most romantic places on earth—but The Used Book Cafe is like stepping into Belle’s personal library. Complete with low-light chandeliers and phenomenal food, you have floor-to-ceiling shelves and comfortable seating to welcome you. We’re not sure which one we want more: a slice of cake or a first edition book!

2. The Lit. Bar in New York City

At first glance, you might miss the Lit. Bar in NYC; it blends into just about every other rich red brick building (though it comes with some cool chalk art outside). However, once you step inside, you realize that you’re among some of the coolest book nerds in town. As a general interest book store, it has everything you need to satisfy your sweet tooth and your bookshelves.

3. Minoa Pera in Istanbul

Not everyone can just hop on a plane and head to Turkey, but if you’re ever in the area, you might as well check out Minoa Pera, a stunning cafe with an iconic staircase and thousands of titles to choose from. Oh, and the food isn’t half bad either!

4. Ampersand Café & Bookstore in Sydney

Ampersand is like stepping into a professor’s office. You have the fireplace, you have the adorable plants, and you have rows and rows of impressive books. With vintage furniture scattered throughout, the whole place gives cozy vibes, and it’s one of the best spots to kick up your feet and read. (If only we could get past the idea of spiders.)

5. Maison Assouline in London

Interested in a book and a cuppa tea? London’s cafe has you covered! Not only will you score amazing snacks, but you’ll step foot onto their adorable letter-printed carpet as you sift through their impressive collection of books. It also looks more like a bar than a cafe, so there’s not a bad seat in the house.
