And if reading is one of them, you know how much harder it is when said hobby can be time-consuming. 1. Pick A Favorite Of Yours

If you want to ease yourself back into reading, the best place to start is with a good book you know you love and enjoy. It's a guaranteed good time this way! Try to pick something you haven't touched in a while but feel seriously excited to dig back into.

2. Schedule Reading Time

Struggling to make time in your day to read? Think ahead and try to schedule dedicated time to make it easier on yourself. This is perfect for those of you who always have a hard time giving yourself free time. Take a breather and relax!

3. Take Breaks When You Want Them

Don't feel a need to finish your book in one sitting - even if you used to be able to. Take things slow and stop or give yourself a break when you feel like it. Reading should feel like something you want to do; it should never feel forced.

4. Start A Different Book If You're Not Feeling It

Not a fan of the book you picked up? Or maybe your expectations were too high and the novel just isn't satisfying your reading craving. Whatever the reason, if you're not enjoying the book you're currently reading, don't be afraid to jump ship. There's no shame in giving up and starting a different one!

5. Make Yourself Comfy!

Give yourself the best chance to have a great reading experience by getting all comfy and cozy. Make your favorite beverage, change into your most comfortable clothes, grab a fuzzy blanket, and get ready to read! It's so much easier to read for longer when you're all nice and settled.
